Éire
I thought I was time to tell you a wee bit about my recent (or not so recent anymore) stay in Ireland. I spent the school year 2009/2010 in Ireland as an exchange student ( I guess most people I have any contact with knows this by now, I do talk about it all the time) so this summer I went back to visit my old host family and others I know in Ireland.

This pictures is from a place called Carnmore (or An Carn Mor in Irish), from which you can see seven counties. Quite a good view in other words, as seen on my next picture

It’s quite fascinating to watch the local showers of rain from Carnmore, because you can see it really well. Of course, this being Ireland you can usually count on it rain somewhere.

Annika, Kellie and I about to go out for Chinese food and to the cinema.

This picture is from a place called Bundoran i County Donegal, where we went the Saturday before I left to go back to Norway again. It is normally a place people go to, to enjoy a day at the beach or the lovely weather, however, we went there on a rainy and rather windy day. It was really nice all the same, with the windy sea and big waves. The place you see in my photo is normally reachable my foot, but because of the tide the water was to high to get over. We saw people stranded on the rock actually and they started jumping out in the water and everything. It must either have been planed or they got stuck there and had to swim to the shore.

Annika and I in Bundoran.
Apart from that I drank gallons (to be honest I don’t really know how much a gallon is but it fits better into an English text than Liters) of tea, went shopping in Dublin, Enniskillen and Monaghan, went out to the pubs in Clones and just relaxed and spent time with people I haven’t seen in ages. In other words, I had a great time and I left with my suitcase full-to-bursting with teabags (440 to be precise), Cheese and Onion crisps and Kit-Kat chocolate.
‘I aten’t dead’
A whole lot has happened since I lasted blogged. I’ve had 11 wonderful days in Ireland (and I have the pictures to prove it), I’ve started studying English at University, I’ve said goodbye to many good friend who are leaving me to explore the world/ other parts of Norway, I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of money on books and working. What I haven’t done however, is blogging, answering comment, drawing, reading (apart form Romeo and Juliet for class) and other activities I enjoy. Whenever I get more time on my hands I’ll add photos from Ireland, and start blogging again. Hugs all around!

Slán
I’ll be off to Ireland in the morning, so I will be away from here until the 14th when I return. I’ve decided to not bring my computer, but I’ll have plenty of pictures to show when I’m back again.

* Slán means goodbye in Irish, as in the language, not Irish accent.
This seems to confuse a lot of people
A magic quill among other things
I found the magic quill on Pottermore today, which means I’ll be getting in early! I got my username and everything, I’m WolfHallow193, so there. And I was told I was magical and my name was on a list right over Harry Potter himself. I can’t actually use the site yet because it’s not completely ready, but I will be able to use it before October when I will open for everyone. It’s very exciting, I will contain McGonagall back story! Also, it’s 31Th of July (5 minutes left when I’m writing this) Happy Birthday JKR and Harry Potter!

I was at a concert on Friday with a Norwegian band called Kaizers Orchestra, one of the two Norwegian bands I really like (the other being Gåte, which technically doesn’t exist anymore because they broke up). I was amazing to finally see them live because I’ve practically grown up with that band. My day played their first CD a lot when it came out. I remember taking it to school in fourth grade to play for the class, and my teacher asked my whether I thought their music was scary. And I bought a band t-shirt with the cover art from their is beautiful.

Before I go to bed I have to tell you that I’m going to Ireland on Wednesday to visit the host family (ex host family, or whatever I shall call them) and my host sister from Germany is coming to. It will be class, and good craic and all other Irish expressions one can think of. I can’t wait!
…
I need to acknowledge the tragedy that happened here in Norway this Friday. I am at a lost for words, our whole country is in shock. I can’t even beginning to contemplate how so many people must be feeling right now. My thoughts are with you all.
